Trader tables

If your application is successful, your invoice will cover a single table for 1 trader and 1 Helper. There is a limit of one table per trader due to limited space.

Table specs

Table sizes are 6ft by 2.6ft.  If you wish to bring your own smaller 2×2 side table or an extra chair then you are welcome to.

Setting the scene

You can bring backdrops and pull up banners as needed, and items can be hung from the picture rail on the walls. Please do not use sellotape or anything damaging or semi-permanent on the walls.

Trading times

The rooms are available for set up late Friday afternoon and are locked up overnight. Take down usually starts at around 3pm on Sunday.

After the Robot Apocalypse is the self-published comic project of Bristol artist Keith Hopewell, combining post-apocalyptic storytelling with a bold visual style shaped by years in street art and illustration. Keith brings issues of After the Robot Apocalypse, new title The Trash Pandas vs A.I, plus prints, stickers, badges and more. Having enjoyed past Lawless events, he’s keen to return with a distinctive style, new stories and a friendly presence on the show floor.

MayB Illustrates offers prints, stickers, keyrings and pins featuring distinctive characters and a varied illustrative style that appeals across ages and interests. Created by emerging artist Holly-May Baines, the work reflects a broad love of genre and media, with a growing range of fun designs and merchandise. Lyndon Webb is a comic artist working across sequential art, covers and commissions, with credits including Shift, Strip and Unit 666. As a regular at Lawless, he values the event for its energy and community, and aims to bring artwork to suit every budget.
David Broughton

David Broughton

David Broughton is a long-standing independent comic creator and publisher, producing original comics and artwork for more than four decades, including his signature title Shaman Kane. Rooted in traditional craft and imagination, his work reflects a lifelong drive to tell stories and share art directly with readers. Now a familiar face at Lawless, he values the event as a celebration of British comics and a chance to connect with fans and fellow creators.
Dicepool Party Comics

Dicepool Party Comics

Dicepool Party Comics is an independent Bristol publisher creating energetic, story-driven comics built from tabletop roleplaying narratives, including teen superhero series The Embodied and comedy sci-fi title Another Space. Founder Jack Turvey focuses entirely on personal storytelling over profit, releasing DIY minis, original artwork and charity projects alongside new issues. After a rewarding debut at Lawless, he is keen to return with expanded comics, games and artwork, and to continue sharing work shaped by enthusiasm, community and creativity.

Gary Maguire sells original vintage comic artwork from 2000 AD and related titles. His table offers rare one-off pieces sourced specially for Lawless, attracting a loyal customer base who return each year to see new artwork. He is a passionate collector who values being part of the event and meeting fellow fans.
Andy’s Totton Toy Fairs

Andy’s Totton Toy Fairs

Andy Cooper runs Andy’s Totton Toy Fair, specialising in British comics and vintage toys, alongside co-trader Martin. Their stall offers thousands of comics plus figures and statues, shaped by decades of passion for 2000 AD and the UK comics scene. For Andy, Lawless is about fun, community, and meeting fellow fans, with returning visitors drawn to the energy and enthusiasm he brings to the event.

FAQs

Trader Table Pricing & Allocation

Cost of Trader table will still be £80 for the weekend. It will still only be for One Table and One Helper.

Weekend-Only Availability

Weekend Trader Tables will be available ONLY – we will not be offering Day Trader Tables.

Invoice & Payment Policy

An invoice will be issued for payment within 30 days once your Application has been successful. If the invoice has not been cleared within thirty days, then you will lose your slot and we will make a decision on another trader to attend.

Venue Access & Setup Times

Doors will be open from 4pm on Friday afternoon and will be locked up overnight. Take down starts at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.

Extra Table & Banner Options

You can bring your own small side table if you wish and there is space for banners to be set up.

Parking Information

Parking is available on site – you will need to pay for it at reception and provide your registration number. I think its gone up to about £15 for 24hrs. (Other local car parks are also available)

Bribes won’t be accepted, but we do appreciate quick wit and knowledge of the Lawless community.

If you are unsuccessful, Yes of course we’ll put you on a Cancellation List and let you know if anything comes available.

Can we still book trader tables the old way?

No, we will not be selling trader tables on a separate basis via the ticket site. Hopefully the new Application Process will allow for a smoother trader system and everyone gets more of a chance at a table.

Application Deadline

No, you can’t apply once applications have closed on the 1st December. If you’re too late, then you’re too late – sorry!
